Prior to founding his company, Mr. Umfleet excelled as the Director of Sales and Event Technology for Encore Event Technologies and the Director of Audio Visuals for PSAV and Swank AV. During his time at these corporate AV enterprises, Mr. Umfleet became well known for his ability to manage large and technologically complicated events at some of the most iconic hotels including the famous Beverly Hilton, the flagship Fairmont San Jose, the luxurious Sofitel Redwood City, and the five-star Cordevalle resort.
An expert in his field, Mr. Umfleet holds a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from Webster University. While his career has been filled with standout moments, he takes the most pride in Digital AV Events LLC producing the broadcast for the world's first 3D-printed rocket as well as designing, producing, and directing the production for the annual Abundance 360 Tech Summit for the last 6 years. Mr. Umfleet is also an active member of the Abundance 360 community. He credits his success to a lifetime of never giving up, which was fostered in him as a lifelong athlete. Looking toward the future, Mr. Umfleet intends to continue growing Digital AV Events LLC, while still offering a unique, customized solution for every production. His current "moonshot" is to host the first broadcast-production from Mars. As an entrepreneur, he is always looking for the next great business opportunity.
