CORAL GABLES, FL, May 03, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Guillermo Pastore has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Economist and university professor Guillermo Pastore was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He completed his primary school studies at a Catholic institution, and his high school studies at the Carlos Pellegrini High School of Commerce. Some years later he graduated as a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Buenos Aires. Subsequently, he has taken dozens of postgraduate and advanced courses in public and private universities, including Austral University.
He served as a secondary professor of economics at the University of Economic Growth Theory at U.B.A and the University of Belgrano.
He has authored a vast number of articles in specialized newspapers and magazines, and dictated courses, seminars, and radio and television broadcasts all related to economy, finance, insurance and reinsurance.
Professionally, he created the Economic Analysis department in a prestigious consulting firm. Thereafter, when in 1990 Reinsurance was deregulated from the state monopoly, it was summoned by an international insurance and reinsurance broker to create the deregulation area. Following that, Mr. Pastore was appointed as technical and operational manager of the largest insurance company in Argentina at the time. Later he was hired by a local reinsurance broker in order to internationalize it; later it was bought by E. W. Blanch, giving him the task of creating a Latin American network for which he was transferred to Miami. In 1998 the network began to materialize with offices in Buenos Aires, Santiago de Chile, Rio de Janeiro, Mexico, D.C and Miami. After that, E. W. Blanch was bought by the Benfield Group, becoming part of that reinsurance broker until 2003. It is in that year that Mr. Pastore decided to create his first company Reasegurar.com and Reinsurance.com in Buenos Aires and Miami, which would soon lead the market.
Due to their success, these companies drew the attention of a Lloyds Broker, Cooper Gay, who decided to buy his company and name him CEO of the Southern Cone. In 2014, he decided to leave Cooper Gay and founded his current Reinsurance Broker Special Division with a hub in Buenos Aires, which now leads the rankings of premiums, counting among his prestigious clients insurers from Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay and Bolivia.
Mr. Pastore is married with three children. He divides his time between Buenos Aires and Miami, where he has lived for 20 years. His passion is being with his family and playing sports such as skiing and tennis. He is a fervent believer in the protection of children, collaborating with various organizations that promote food, education, health and housing for those who have the least access possibilities.
