POWERS LAKE, ND, May 05, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Kevin Allen Avery has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Drawing on decades of experience in the trucking industry, Mr. Avery is recognized for his leadership as president of Avery Enterprizes Inc., a leading oilfield trucking company. Since founding the business in 2006, he has overseen all its operations, including drilling rigs and hauling water, pipes, tanks and other equipment. While initially Mr. Avery was an outsider in the North Dakota oilfield industry, having moved to the state after working in natural gas fields in Wyoming, he proved himself through honesty, positivity and hard work. In fact, his business has thrived while many others, including larger companies, have gone bankrupt.
Mr. Avery was raised on a ranch; growing up, his father was a racehorse jockey, so Mr. Avery spent a good deal of time watching horse races. He also enjoyed riding bulls, and with his brother, organized rodeos and bull rides. On a professional level, Mr. Avery got his start in the trucking industry at the age of 18, and by his 20s, he was the owner of Avery Enterprises, a company that specialized in trucking livestock. When, after three years, that company went out of business, he went to work for the U.S. Department of Energy, where he worked on a special response counter-terrorism team for 16 years. After spending more than a year in Iraq doing bodyguard and convoy escort work, he returned to the United States and founded his current company.
A firearm aficionado and dedicated member of the National Rifle Association, Mr. Avery has won a number of competitions, including three first-place awards in the Pacific Northwest Police and Fire Games in the sniper shooting category. He also took first place as Idaho State Champion of the Pacific Northwest Regional Champion Powerlifter and second place in the Powerlifting Competition in Spain in 1992 representing Team USA. He is a supporter of Disabled American Veterans.
Mr. Avery and his wife, Denise, have been married for 11 years and have 11 children and 41 grandchildren combined between the two of them. They enjoy spending time with their grandchildren, traveling and running Ms. Avery's bed-and-breakfast business in Idaho. In the coming years, Mr. Avery looks forward to retiring and spending more time with his family on the beach. He and Denise are very proud of all of their children and their successes.
