Leveraging more than three decades of excellence in military service, Mr. Few has earned distinction as a senior counterintelligence subject matter expert with the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community. Having worked in counterintelligence since 1991 he has served in his present capacity since 2022.
Among his professional accomplishments, Mr. Few is proud to have been the counterintelligence team chief for the combined joint special operations task force and the task force counterintelligence coordinating authority during the initial year of the war in Iraq. This was a mission critical position at the time, where he coordinated and deconflicted human intelligence operations among numerous agencies needed to locate Saddam Hussein and satisfy collection requirements to confirm or deny the existence of weapons of mass destruction.
In addition to his current civilian role as the senior counterintelligence advisor to the national intelligence manager, maritime, office of the director of national intelligence, Mr. Few serves honorably as a senior field grade officer in the United States Army Reserves. Among his professional accomplishments, he is proud to have received a Meritorious Service Medal in 2019 for Operation Torre Vigil and a Joint Civilian Achievement Medal in 2010 for Operation Unified Response. He was also honored with a Knowlton Award for excellence in intelligence in 2018. Within the coming years, Mr. Few intends to continue his work for as long as possible, making a positive difference wherever he can out of dedication to serving his country.
Mr. Few is the son of Melinda M. Few, who was listed in Who's Who from 1988-1991, and a direct decedent of William Few, Georgia's Signatory for the United States Constitution and William P. Few, the First President of Duke University.
