Drawing on her varied and diverse professional experience in the law, Ms. Abuzeid founded the eponymous Abuzeid Law with the goal of creating a personalized environment where each of her clients' unique and specific needs would be met. In her role as principal attorney, Ms. Abuzeid specializes in family law, surrogacy, trusts and estates and business law; practice areas in which Ms. Abuzeid has made a direct and dramatic difference in the lives of her clients. As a first-generation Arab-American, Ms. Abuzeid possesses valuable insight on the impact that culture, race, gender and religious beliefs have on the practice of the law and legal outcomes.
Prior to establishing her private practice, Ms. Abuzeid worked as the office manager and law clerk for The Law Offices of C.S.H., a postgraduate research assistant with her alma mater Chapman University School of Law, and as a tax appeal advocate for the California State Board of Equalization's Tax Appeals Assistance Program. During the early stages of her career, Ms. Abuzeid gained beneficial expertise in varying roles with the Orange County Public Defender, Parents for Choice in Education, Salt Lake Community College, David M. Cook, P.C., and as an intern political aide for U.S. Congressman Chris Cannon.
Alongside her work, Ms. Abuzeid has always found time to give back to the community and volunteered for a sundry of organizations and causes. During law school, Ms. Abuzeid was the president of the American Constitution Society for Law and Policy and a student advisory board member for Chapman University School of Law's Career Services Office. Ms. Abuzeid has since volunteered as a mediator and trainer for the Community Action Partnership of Riverside County and assisted in the foundation of various non-profit organizations that are center around mentorship and women's empowerment.
An expert in her field, Ms. Abuzeid holds an Associate of Science in political science and government from Salt Lake Community College. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in political studies with a minor in economics from Westminster College and a Juris Doctor from Chapman University Fowler School of Law. In addition, Ms. Abuzeid earned a certificate in mediation and alternative dispute resolution through the CAP Dispute Resolution Center. Within the coming years, Ms. Abuzeid intends to experience her career's continued growth and success with Abuzeid Law.
