Dr. Dadari is a public health expert whose practice and research has focused on immunization implementation and maternal and child health and development. He has several years of experience spanning the government and non-profit sector. He currently works as an Immunization Specialist (Coverage and Equity), at UNICEF HQ New York, and global lead for urban immunization, a position he assumed in 2021. In his current capacity, he chairs and coordinates with multi-agency working groups to advance child health and immunization equity globally. Having transitioned from earlier positions with government and other non-profit, he moved to UNICEF in 2014 joining the organization as an Immunization logistics officer for UNICEF Pacific countries in the Fiji Islands. During his time with UNICEF, Dr. Dadari has also served as a maternal newborn and child health specialist for and an EPI/Health program officer UNICEF Pacific, in addition to working on implementation research as a Health specialist on stretch assignment through part of 2020.
Dr. Dadari holds a medical degree (MBBS) from Ahmadu Bello University and completed a Master of International Healthcare Management Economics & Policy (MIHMEP) at Bocconi University in 2012. He has continued to pursue extensive postgraduate learning and research opportunities, and in 2023 he completed a Doctor of Public Health in advanced practice leadership in public health at the University of South Florida. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine, a program management professional (PMP®), a board-certified in public health (CPH) by the National Board of Public Health Examiners and is extensively credentialed in his field. Prior to working with UNICEF, Dr. Dadari was a senior program analyst and vaccine team lead for the Clinton Health Access Initiative for Abuja & Kano and a senior medical officer for the Al-Madina Clinic and Pharmacy. Between 2008 and 2010, he served as a senior medical officer for the Nigerian Ministry of Health in Kaduna, Nigeria. While completing his graduate studies and medical education, Dr. Dadari interned with the World Health Organization, Geneva, and the National Hospital in Abuja, Nigeria, among other prestigious organizations.

He is a longtime contributor to a community-based micro health insurance project serving participants in rural Nigeria, and donates actively to civil societies and NGOs. In recognition of his contributions to his field, Dr. Dadari was a 2013 Vaccinology in Africa fellow for the Jenner Institute at the University of Oxford and was the recipient of the Cariplo foundation graduate fellowship and a merit scholarship from Chevron Nigeria Limited as an undergraduate student. He credits his success to hard work and plans to continue to build on his work and transition into senior-level management roles in the coming years.
