Among his previous positions, Mr. Rowe was a consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton Inc. in Norfolk, Virginia, a leading information technology services and consulting company, from 2007 to 2008. He subsequently served as a summer associate in an internship capacity at Wells Fargo and Company in Portland in 2013 and as an investment banking associate of mergers and acquisitions at HSBC Bank USA, NA, in New York City, between 2014 and 2015. More recently, Mr. Rowe was an investment banking associate of consumer and retail at Scott-Macon Group Inc. in New York City from 2016 to 2017, through which he provided domestic and international consumer and retail companies with comprehensive strategic and financial advice regarding buy- and sell-side transactions.
Highly educated in law, business administration, public administration, and political science, Mr. Rowe chose his profession after becoming involved in diplomatic environments as part of the Marine Embassy program. He notably served his country from a sergeant to a staff sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps from 2000 to 2005. Looking toward the future, Mr. Rowe envisions becoming active in local government to give back at the local level.
A prolific author, Mr. Rowe has contributed numerous professional articles as an author and co-author. Among them, he co-authored an article in Afronomics Law titled 'International Economic Law and Central Banks in Africa: Toward a Progressive Pro-Development Approach' in 2021 with co-author Chantal Thomas.
Mr. Rowe is highly educated, having received an Associate of Applied Science in criminal justice at Central Texas College in 2005, a Bachelor of Arts in political science and government at The George Washington University in 2007, a Master of Arts in political science and government at Columbia University in 2009, and a Master of Public Administration in international relations and affairs at Harvard University in 2011, a Master of Business Administration in accounting and finance at Cornell University in 2014. He recently acquired a Doctor of Jurisprudence in business law and regulation at Cornell University in 2023. He is now pursuing a Master of Applied Data Sciences at the University of Michigan. Additional educational pursuits to Mr. Rowe's credit include credentials as a project management professional, certificates in business law and consumer behavior through Cornell University, certifications in data collection and processing and Google data analytics through Coursera, and proficiency credentials from LexisNexis Proficiency. Moreover, he maintains a license as a New York Notary Public.
To remain abreast in the legal field, Mr. Rowe is a member of the American Bar Association. He is also active in the Golden Key International Honor Society and the Political Science Honor Society. He is a past president of the graduate and professional student assembly of Cornell University. Recognizing his military contributions, Mr. Rowe was decorated with a Navy Achievement Medal from the U.S. Marine Corps.
