During the early stages of his career, Mr. Davis gained valuable experience as a Senior Staff Design Engineer for General Dynamics Electronics Division, EG&G Management Systems Incorporated and Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company. He then moved on as a Principal Systems Engineer for Ball Aerospace and then as a Research Engineer for the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics at the University of Colorado. Driven to stay abreast of changes in the field, Mr. Davis aligns himself with multiple universities, an extensive list of national and international Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), multiple cross-field periodicals and an extensive library including many one-of-a-kind books in various fields of engineering and science. Before embarking on his professional journey, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from San Diego State University in 1980. In light of his professional achievements, Mr. Davis has received many awards, including a System Engineering Achievement Award from NASA. While his career has been filled with highlights, Mr. Davis takes the most pride in his work as the Telecommunications Subsystem Engineer for the Kepler Spacecraft.
