Dr. Bhusri also advanced to become the director of Lenox Hill Hospital's cardiology fellowship program and he served in this capacity for a number of years.

In addition to creating personalized and comprehensive treatment plans for each patient, he focuses on providing educational advice that guides his patients towards leading increasingly healthy and mindful lifestyles. Dr. Bhusri also regularly harnesses the most up-to-date diagnostic tools such as stress tests and echocardiograms to identify and diagnose complex conditions.
Alongside his responsibilities as a cardiologist, Dr. Bhusri excels as a council member of the American Heart Association and maintains an active affiliation with the Association for the Advancement of Science.
