Prior to obtaining his current position, Mr. Aguilar worked for Edwards Lifesciences as the senior director of engineering.
During the early stages of his career, Mr. Aguilar gained valuable expertise in engineering and the pharmaceutical industry through executive positions with the Olympus Corporation of the Americas, Teleflex Incorporated, Arrow International, and the automotive industry in Mexico. Outside of his work, he dedicates himself to others through the University of California, Riverside's Transformative Leadership Program, through which he served as an advisory board member. Driven to remain abreast of changes in the field, Mr. Aguilar also aligns himself with the Shingo Institute for Quality and Excellence, and the Association for Cardiac Care.
An expert in his field, Mr. Aguilar holds a Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Chihuahua II, a master's degree in manufacturing systems from a technology institute in Mexico, and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. Subsequently, he received management and leadership certifications through MIT Sloan Executive Education and Villanova University.
