Ms. Luvlee-Austin intends to build her company into a legacy of innovation and creativity.

Leveraging more than two decades of excellence in social work and supporting the growth of start-up organizations, Ms. Luvlee-Austin has earned distinction as the chief executive officer of Shyne™. Since 2018, she has focused her efforts on developing financial inclusion and advancement initiatives. She oversees their board of directors, marketing, fundraising and the development of programs for business and entrepreneurship. Their programs are free for survivors of sex trafficking and they provide business incubation, including one-on-one business coaching with professionals in their community. Additionally, she has been a non-profit start-up specialist for The Shen Way since 2006 and a gather fellow with The Goldin Institute since 2018.
Prior to her current role, Ms. Luvlee-Austin began her career as a program director for YMCA Youth and Family Services within Mary's House TLP in 2004. She then served as the director for Just in Time for Foster Youth in 2007 and took a role as the grants and development administrator for Wave Academy in 2011. Among her professional accomplishments, she is proud to have received a Making a Difference for Women award from Soroptimist International of San Diego in 2006.
Prior to embarking on her professional journey, Ms. Luvlee-Austin earned a Bachelor of Arts in social work from San Diego State University in 1999. Following this achievement, she attained a holistic health practitioner degree in energy work, massage, relaxation and stress release from the Body Mind College in 2002. Well-qualified in her field, she is certified in human resources from the United Latino Students Association and in grassroots leadership from The Goldin Institute.
Within the coming years, Ms. Luvlee-Austin intends to build her company into a legacy of innovation and creativity. Their goal is to create a network and a system that is able to provide those services to survivors that traditional non-profit agencies are not able to do while designing a path for people who have been impacted by issues like incarceration or poverty to achieve success. She has recently partnered with the University of San Diego to help them achieve start-up funds, collaborating with financial institutions and corporations to give them the resources and support they need to build a business. She is also presently growing her marketing and programs teams, onboarding many talented individuals.
