Drawing on more than a decade and a half of industry experience, Ms. Costrello presently serves as the Regional Safety and Loss Control Manager for PEOPLEASE, through which she oversees OSHA, EPA, and DOT-related issues, provides safety training, and manages 300 clients. Over the years, she has also worked in safety and compliance management positions with Walmart, Allegheny County, Transport Investments, and Compliance Management International. During the early stages of her career, Ms. Costrello gained valuable expertise in the field as a logistics specialist with SAIC, as safety administrator for NAPA Transportation, and in operational and supervisory roles with Piedmont Airlines and Wyndham Vacation Ownership.
Alongside her work, Ms. Costrello contributes to her community as an event volunteer with the Broughton Volunteer Fire Department and as co-leader of the Culture Council at PEOPLEASE. Driven to remain abreast of changes in the field, she aligns herself with the American Society of Safety Professionals. An expert in her field, she holds a Bachelor of Science in aerospace studies with minors in aviation safety, industrial safety, and space studies from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Subsequently, Ms. Costrello received a Master of Science in occupational safety and health and a master's degree in organizational leadership from Columbia Southern University. In her free time, Ms. Costrello enjoys spending time with her husband and their four children.
