MCLEAN, VA, May 24, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Poul Arendal has been included in Marquis Who's Who. In a career spanning 45 years, Mr. Arendal excelled as a skilled and respected attorney and analyst through to his retirement in 2005. Notably, he worked and advised for the Democratic presidential runs of Bill Clinton, Al Gore and John Kerry.
At the start of his career, Mr. Arendal served as a flight officer and second lieutenant military pilot for his native Denmark from 1959 to 1965, having spent some of his training in Canada. Remaining within the line of work, he went on to work as a systems analyst for SAS (Scandinavian Airlines) and Lufthansa Systems between 1965 and 1971. At this point, Mr. Arendal joined the European Space Organization in the same capacity, as well as a mathematician, remaining through 1975.
For 20 years, Mr. Arendal devoted his career to The World Bank, in which he served as a financial analyst until 1995. In the mid-1990s, he switched his focus to law in the political sphere, having been an attorney for the Office of the Counsel to the President, Gore 2000 & Democratic National Committee and the Center for Working Capital, AFL-CIO. In his most recent position, Mr. Arendal worked as the financial officer for John Kerry for President from 2003 to 2004.
Abundantly educated, Mr. Arendal earned a Bachelor of Science in computer management and artificial intelligence from the Copenhagen Business School in Denmark in 1969. He later achieved a Master of Business Administration from the University of Utah David Eccles School of Business in 1975 and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the American University College of Law in 1996.
Mr. Arendal attributes his decades of success to his intelligence and ability to master different languages, as he speaks Danish, English and German. In his retirement, he enjoys swimming and reviving his athleticism.
