After Suse's acquisition of Rancher, she stayed to support acquisition integration efforts and led the global revenue operations teams. In 2020, before working with SUSE, Valeria was the Vice President of Sales Operations for Rancher Labs which is a complete software stack for teams adopting containers. The company addresses the operational and security challenges of managing multiple Kubernetes clusters across any infrastructure while providing DevOps teams with integrated tools for running containerized workloads.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Manchester served as the Director of Sales Operations for HashiCorp, a unicorn startup, where she developed HCP's first sales operations team from the ground up. She facilitated exceptional hyper growth of 5M ARR to 100M+ ARR and a 5B valuation over three years by establishing scalable operational foundations, and keeping long term sustainable growth and investor consideration in mind which helped prepare the company for their IPO in 2021 on the NYSE.
Though hard work and dedication have brought her far, Ms. Manchester credits her overall success to her resilience. Many workplace stresses make women leave the industry.
