An accomplished business owner with years of professional expertise, Mr. Horsman presently serves as the founder of Horsman Investments and is lucky enough to be a snowbird from Ontario to The Villages, Florida (where he cofounded and for 13 years served as President of the over 500 member Canadian Loonies and Toonies social club) during frigid Canadian winters.
Prior to establishing his current company, he was the founder, owner and president of Canflexographics Inc. where he had the privilege of working as a commission sales associate for Carint srl, Fischer and Krecke, J.M. Heaford, Harper Corporation, Dover Flexo Electronics, Norcross Corporation, Harris and Bruno, Comco, and Mark Andy and he had the privilege of working with such Flexographic Printing Industry legendary individuals as Luigi and Margaret Carraro, Hartmut Roessler, Phil Holmes and Bill Mason, Ken Ekola, Lester Poole, Nick Bruno, Ron and Katherine Harper, Denny McGee, Roy Webb and John Heaford.
During the early stages of his career, Mr. Horsman gained valuable education, maturity expertise and experience at Industrial Bags/Sacs Industriels, Inc. in his native Montreal, Canada working in the plant developing his love of the Flexographic Printing Process from 1969 to 1975. He then got into sales with a now defunct printing supply distributor before striking out on his own in 1986 as the Ontario and Western Canada sales arm of Industrial Bags under his Canflexographics banner.
In 1987 he signed his first equipment contract with American Roller Company, for which he will always be grateful to Bob Ditzler for giving him the chance.
During his career and in his retirement, he has been a very active member of the Flexographic Technical Association, speaking and chairing at many forum sessions, workshops and roundtables. He served as a member of the Board (1994 to 2000) and the Board of Trustees, chairing that Board from 1997 to 2000. He is also just one of two people to ever Chair an Annual FTA Forum twice (1991 and 2001).
In recognition for his devotion to the Association and The Flexographic Printing Industry he received a Distinguished Service and Presidents Award in 2000 and was inducted into the Flexographic Technical Association Hall of Fame in 2001 as its youngest ever inductee.
Mr. Horsman was recognized in the 2000 and 2001 International Who's Who of Entrepreneurs Publications.
Outside of his work, he has contributed to his community as a lacrosse and curling coach and as the administrator of a senior men's golf league (still active).
Throughout his life, Mr. Horsman has achieved much in the sports industry, qualifying and playing in three Ontario Curling Association Provincial Championships, coaching in three other Junior OCA Provincial Championships (winning The John Deere Schoolboy Championship in 1993), coaching a ladies curling team from Illinois and Wisconsin for five years culminating in a berth at the US Olympic Trials in 2005 as well as coaching many other teams and teaching many novice players, He is also proud to be a charter member of the Orlando Curling Club.
An avid golfer he has been very fortunate to have scored two holes in one during his 50 plus years of play.
Mr. Horsman also coached box lacrosse in his hometown of Brampton for 10 years and guided his teams to provincial silver medals in 1991 and 1997 and won an Ontario Lacrosse Association Championship in 1992 which also earned him a Citizen's award from the City of Brampton.
He was also honoured in 1997 as inductee into the Exmoor Country Club Curling Hall of Fame.

He is also renowned in all of his worlds for his very colourful wardrobe that is very red and often displays his pride in being Canadian.
According to Horsman the cornerstone of his overall success lay in his hard work and being in the right place at the right time many, many times and considers himself to be a very lucky guy.
He has been married to the same woman for over 50 years has two children and two grandchildren and takes great pleasure in watching them grow and succeed.
