Ms. Dinsmore received her bachelor's degree in history with honors from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1991. While attending university, Caroline became a member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority, the Historian's Honors Society, and was honored by the Phi Alpha Theta society. Caroline Dinsmore is a licensed realtor recognized by the California Department of Real Estate.

During elementary school she launched her own hair clip business, and in middle school she began learning the value of money by working a newspaper route.
