Driven to remain abreast of changes in the field, Mr. McGuire is affiliated with the American Purchasing Society, a specialty group called Nuts, Bolts & Thingamajigs, and THORS eLearning fastener training videos.
An expert in his field, Mr. McGuire holds a bachelor's degree in marketing from Franklin University. In light of his outstanding body of work, he has been honored on several occasions. In addition to being inducted into the Fastener Hall of Fame in 1994, he received the Soaring Eagle Award for Service from the Industrial Fastener Institute in 2020.
