Dedicated to helping others, Ms. Greco is an established medical professional with more than 40 years of experience in health care and nursing. Having recently retired, she spent the latter portion of her career as the operations manager for her husband's private practice, Thomas Greco MD, overseeing the office and helping it transition to using digital versions of paper charts, best known as electronic medical records (EMRs).
Throughout the course of her professional career, Ms. Greco found success as a risk management consultant for Saint Louis Children's Hospital from 2008 to 2009 and as a nurse consultant for American Family Insurance between 2007 and 2008. She also specialized in medical malpractice defense as a legal nurse consultant for several organizations, including Lashley & Baer LLC from 2006 to 2007 and Armstrong Teasdale LLP between 2003 and 2006. Moreover, Ms. Greco spent almost a decade in the classroom as a nursing educator at Saint Louis University and Southern Illinois University.
A dedicated civil advocate, Ms. Greco is a member of the Court Appointed Child Advocates and the Voices for Children. She is also active as a parishioner and choir member at her church.
Ms. Greco graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Lewis University in 1978 and a Master of Science in Nursing from Saint Louis University in 1987. She also holds certification in legal studies from Webster University and received credentials as a registered nurse and legal nurse consultant.
As a continuation of her ongoing dedication to the field, Ms. Greco is a member of the Missouri State Medical Association Alliance. Among her most notable contributions to the Alliance, she was the vice president and an organizer for several fundraising events. She was notably recognized for her efforts in 2022 as the Sandra Mitchell Member of the Year. Ms. Greco also remains active as a member of the Saint Louis Metropolitan Medical Society Alliance. Furthermore, she is recognized as an immediate past president of the American Medical Association (AMA) Alliance, having served in her role from 2020 to 2021. As the 91st elected president, she was invested in finding ways to bring the organization together during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic. Among other initiatives, she was instrumental in forming monthly, all-member, all-leader calls to keep members engaged. Ms. Greco also served as the organization's director of external communications, secretary, and founder of its Centennial Club and has remained a member of its board of directors since 2016.
