During the early stages of his career, Mr. Carnahan gained valuable professional expertise as a partner with Walter Haverfield, where he focused his practice on creditor's rights, bankruptcy, and mortgage origination compliance; managing attorney of the Cleveland office of Morris, Laing, Evans, Brock & Kennedy, a midsized regional law firm; and as an attorney with other firms in the greater Cleveland, Ohio area, including Dinn, Hochmann & Potter, LLC, Shapiro, Van Ess, Phillips & Barragate, and Gerald R. Walton & Associates. Outside of his work, Mr. Carnahan dedicates himself to his community as a volunteer youth football and basketball coach in Aurora, Ohio and a volunteer high school class instructor at Cleveland Public Schools through the local bar association.
Mr. Carnahan holds a bachelor's degree in history from Kent State University and a JD from Cleveland State University's College of Law.
