PLAYA VISTA, CA, June 06, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Maurice Ducoing has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
With more than a decade of excellence in human capital management, Mr. Ducoing has earned distinction as the chief executive officer and founder of Ducoing Human Capital. Since its founding in 2020, he has focused his efforts on helping companies upskill managers to better align, engage and retain their teams through psychological safety, interpersonal change management, inclusion, and emotional intelligence. Further, Mr. Ducoing also coaches and aligns executive teams through a mix of industry-standard leadership tools as well as proprietary approaches. Through this alignment he then guides them through challenging organizational changes (including restructurings and M&A) or in making critical organizational decisions such as the selection of the company mission, vision and values. His clients primarily consist of (but are not limited to) software firms with typically $10 million to $400 million in revenue (or ranges of 50 to 2000 employees) and as well as private equity firms and their portfolio companies, typically with hundreds of millions to billions in Assets Under Management (AUM).
Prior to starting his company, Mr. Ducoing began his career as an ESL and dual language teacher for the New York City Department of Education in 2003 and was a fellow advisor and consultant with NYC Teaching Fellows in 2006. Later that year, he briefly served as a recruiter and assistant account manager for Algomod Technologies before taking a role as a consultant in the Human Capital practice for Deloitte Consulting in 2007. He was promoted to a human capital senior consultant in 2009 and to a human capital manager in 2012. In 2014, he was recruited to serve as a practice director of human capital for K1 Operations where he helped them build a full end-to-end human capital consultancy for their portfolio companies. He did this until becoming the Vice President of People & Change for Litera in 2020. In 2022, as the company scaled globally, so did his role into Vice President of Global Learning, Change & Inclusion in early 2022 until his departure in 2023, then relaunching Ducoing Human Capital full-time.
Outside of his primary career efforts, Mr. Ducoing has contributed numerous published articles and was a movie review blogger for five years. He also serves as a member of the board of advisors and current president of the Zeta Psi Educational Foundation, endowing in 2021 the Ducoing Human Capital Scholarship Fund to support those interested in pursuing a career in human capital.
Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Ducoing earned a bachelor's degree in Industrial and Labor Relations (ILR) from Cornell University in 2003 and attained a Master of Science (with distinction) in Education from Mercy College in conjunction with the NYC Teaching Fellows Program in 2005. Believing that art has a very powerful role to play in human capital instruction, Maurice holds a certificate in film production from New York University – Tisch School of the Arts. Well-qualified in his field, he is certified in various human capital tools including Hogan Assessment, DISC behavioral assessment (via Wiley and TTI Success Insights), the Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument, Diversity & Inclusion for HR via eCornell, and has served as a Wiley Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team authorized partner.
Within the coming years, Mr. Ducoing intends to continue to build his firm's sustainable growth annually, potentially recruiting partners and employees. In addition to this work, he is presently writing both a non-fiction and fiction book based on teaching individuals how to implement psychological safety and realize its organizational benefits. His goal is to provide a better understanding of psychological safety, interpersonal change, and inclusion, enabling more companies to effectively build a team-based culture that supports foundational human needs to be heard, to grow, and to be valued.
