Blissera Corp. specializes in modern-looking elevators made of structural tempered glass and aviation aluminum and powered by vacuum forces.
SUNNYVALE, CA, June 06, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Alex Alexanian has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Mr. Alexanian is a serial entrepreneur, having founded several high-tech companies in Silicon Valley, California. All his founded companies were born from his personal experience of a problem with no sight of adequate solutions on the market.
The idea of AirLift was born when Mr. Alexanian was building his family's summerhouse in Armenia and came across an issue with the building's layout. His parents would have to utilize stairs more often than not. Driven to make the house more accessible for his parents, he founded Blissera Corp., which specializes in modern-looking elevators made of structural tempered glass and aviation aluminum and powered by vacuum forces. Floor-to-ceiling large glass panels and absence of metal clutter inside the elevator shaft makes the design of AirLift unique and aesthetically pleasing. AirLift delivers a gorgeous look and feel, an order of magnitude better performance, higher speed, lower noise, smoother ride and higher safety features than any other existing home elevator solution on the market. Being the head of the organization, Mr. Alexanian oversees daily business operations and technology development.
Mr. Alexanian started his entrepreneurial career in 1998 when he established his first enterprise – Mosaic Systems, a semiconductor company delivering high-speed semiconductor memory ICs (Integrated Circuits) that work 10x faster and consume less power than other commercial solutions on the market at that time. He founded Mosaic when his then current employer Cadence Design Systems rejected the idea of developing integrated memory solutions for systems on a chip. Mr. Alexanian then quit his job and embarked on a mission to develop and deliver fast memory applications – Mosaic Systems was born. Several years later one of Mosaic's largest customers Cisco Systems acquired Mosaic for using its memory technology in Cisco's advanced communication products.
When overseeing day-to-day operations at Mosaic, Mr. Alexanian came across an unexpected problem – a bizarre IC foundry mistake that rendered the first Mosaic's memory chips dead on arrival. The problem was fixed shortly, but it caused several hundred thousand dollars in damage and months of delay in the product introduction. This later led Mr. Alexanian to establish Ponte Solutions – an EDA (Electronic Design Automation) company predicting yields of complex semiconductor devices at the design stage, providing invaluable information to semiconductor companies. Ponte was co-founded by Mr. Alexanian's classmates Sedrak Sargisian and Ara Markosian – all semiconductor technology veterans from Silicon Valley. The product from Ponte was a big hit and many large semiconductor companies became customers, including Samsung, Toshiba, Qualcomm and others. Ponte established international operations having regional support centers in US, Europe, Japan and South Korea for regional customers. Several years later Ponte was acquired by Mentor Graphics, a Siemens business.
Mr. Alexanian has also worked as a senior member of the consulting staff for Cadence Design Systems (CA, USA), the group manager of Mars Corporation (UK and Armenia), and as an engineer, then senior engineer for the Institute of Mathematical Machines (Armenia).
Mr. Alexanian holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Yerevan State University, which he earned in 1984. Due to his vast breadth of knowledge, he has obtained a number of patents over the years, including three U.S. patents in memory architecture, and several US and international patents that are currently pending.
Looking ahead, Mr. Alexanian envisions that a safe, compact, and modern looking elevator will become a must-have household attribute, like a refrigerator or a washing machine. He embarks on a mission for Blissera to lead this market transformation worldwide. Through his work, he aims to drive the elevator market forward and make a profound impact on the construction industry as a whole.
