Due to his vast breadth of knowledge, he has authored such works as "Silicon nitride: The engineering material of the Future" and "Crack Propagation and residual stress in Laminated Si 3N 4/BN composite structures."
An expert in his field, Dr. Krstic holds a bachelor's degree in Metallurgy and a master's degree in Advanced Materials such as mechanical properties of silicon nitride-based ceramics. Subsequently, he expanded upon his professional knowledge, by earning a PhD in Materials Science and a specialization in Advanced Composite Materials for structural and biomedical applications from Queen's University. Throughout his career, Dr. Krstic has obtained a number of patents on nano film deposition on micron size diamonds.
In light of his professional achievements, Dr. Krstic has been honored many times, earning several awards as a postgraduate student, the Best Student Award from Queen's University, and numerous awards and nominations from AUTO 21, a national research initiative supported by the Government of Canada. While his career has been filled with highlights, he takes the most pride in changing diamond surfaces for applications in the photovoltaic and solar industries. The cornerstone of his success lay in his curiosity and his passion for what he does.
