Leveraging more than a decade of excellence in early intervention therapy, social work and education, Ms. Shah has earned distinction as a Realtor, having become a licensed realtor in 2019. She also educates international brokers, buyers and sellers about real estate in the United States, guiding them to the best properties for their needs.
Ms. Shah began her career as a play group teacher in 2004, working as a lead teacher for children three and four years old in India. She became a Knightwire ambassador for The College of Saint Rose in 2008 and was a teaching assistant in 2009 while pursuing a Master's Program. She subsequently was the Lead VPK teacher for Orlando Day Nursery in 2010 and took her first stepping stone into working full time in Florida in the education field. She also worked as an Early Interventionist in a program funded for children with special needs by the Department of Health in Florida. Educating and advocating families with special needs, training and providing therapies, counselling, and empowering through providing resources for kids from birth -three years of age. Helping children with special needs from birth to three years of age. Following this time, she worked as a behavior therapist for Adapt Behavioral Services in 2019 where she performed assessments and evaluations, developed strategies for older children, and worked with challenging families with severe emotional and psychological disturbances.
Among her professional accomplishments, Ms. Shah was honored with an Excellence as the Best Undergraduate Student during her undergraduate program. She was also recognized as a leading international student by The New York Times in 2009. Over the course of her career, she has shared her expertise with other educators, numerous workshops highlighting her expertise, including for teachers on "Positive Behavior Support (Part I, II, III)," "Praise Vs Encouragement" and strategies on behavior and conflict resolution. She also presented a seminar on the role of alternative forms of education (Non Formal Education) in mainstreaming at-risk children and how theories of learning is applied in this course work keeping student centric curriculum.
Prior to embarking on her professional journey, Ms. Shah earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Extension and Communication from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda in India in 2003. She then attained a Master of Science in educational psychology from The College of Saint Rose in 2009. She possesses Associates Degree in Early Child Education. Well-qualified in her field, she is a board-certified Registered Behavior Technician since 2016 and certified real estate sales agent since 2019, as well as an Infant and Toddler Development Specialist. Additionally, she is a valued member of the National Association of REALTORS.
Within the coming years, Ms. Shah intends to continue serving her community through her internationally-geared work. A people-oriented person by nature, she developed a genuine attitude over the course of her career, eventually deciding to work with people in her home country of India and provide jobs to those who needed employment. She built a team of highly talented individuals, serving as an effective leader to bring the best possible service to her international clients. She considers herself a "boutique agent" where she provides a specialize services to selective international clients, luxury clients, and investor clients in real estate. Also, as a Board of Director member she plays a key role of bringing awareness, addressing issues with resources, monitoring a team which focuses on the key element "SERVICE" at one of the oldest Indian societies of Central Florida (Gujarati Society of Central Florida). She dedicates her work life in serving and civil advocacy. She is engaging with a women's organization that supports domestic violence survivors, which is run by a lawyer friend in Florida and wants to continue her passion to volunteer at a program initiated by like-minded friends called "GRAT US" which educates, provides resources and also bring awareness of mental health through their camps which are sponsored by ADVENT HEALTH of Florida.
