Mr. Church is the President and General Manager of SynLok Technologies LLC, a chemical manufacturing company specializing in rugged adhesive solutions for the synthetic turf industry. Prior to becoming SynLok Technologies in 2022 in a partnership with Textile Rubber & Chemical Company, the company existed as SynLok Adhesives, an independent venture, for more than a decade with Mr. Church serving as its president and chief executive officer. During this time, the company built a reputation for quality and innovation with its Turf Claw-branded adhesive, and they have contracted on residential and commercial projects across the country, including on practice facilities for the PGA, Ripken Experience, Dallas Cowboys and Green Bay Packers.
Mr. Church holds a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education from Barton College. He began his career in sales of packaging for the furniture and lawn & garden industries. His work progressed to providing mechanical fasteners and packaging to clients in the appliance industry. After years of success, he expanded into the chemical fastener and synthetic turf industry. Fascinated by the challenges of working with the turf material, but disappointed in the quality of the available commercial adhesives, Mr. Church worked with a chemist to design an adhesive specifically designed for the synthetic turf industry, and in 2009, SynLok Adhesives was created. In addition to his work in adhesives and fasteners, between 2001 and currently Mr. Church has also served as the President of BuckStone Sales and Consulting.
In the coming years, Mr. Church looks forward to continuing to expand operations at SynLok Technologies LLC. He is currently working on moving production to a new facility in Dalton, Ga, an overhaul of the company's technical data and overseeing the creation of a new customer service program with plans of providing innovative tools and adhesives to support his employees and business partners in their professional development. As a leader in his field, Mr. Church is a member of the Synthetic Turf Council, and he is active in various community initiatives, including local branches of the Humane Society, the Brotherhood of Warriors, member of Rock Barn Golf and Spa and the Society of the Crossed Putters. In his personal time, Mr. Church enjoys playing golf and traveling, and is involved in the production of an annual golf tournament for combat-injured veterans of Fort Bragg and Camp Lejeune.
