Topeka, and as an operations officer and division officer on the U.S.S. Sturgeon.
Alongside his work, Mr. Widdis contributes to his community, volunteering with the Sons of the American Revolution and previously serving as working group chair and adviser for the Military Operations Research Society, where he served between 2009 and 2016. An expert in his field, he holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics from the United States Naval Academy. Subsequently, Mr. Widdis expanded upon his professional knowledge, earning a master's degree in operations research through the Naval Postgraduate School and becoming a certified modeling and simulation professional through the National Training and Simulation Association.
