With more than four decades of excellence in church ministry and leadership, Dr. Hill has earned distinction as the pastor with his local church. In this capacity, he focuses his efforts on studying and teaching the Bible and leading people through his faith. Among his professional accomplishments, he is proud to have been inducted to the National Omicron-Psi Honor Society in 2005. He also wrote a book in 2022, "Celebrating the Seasons of Life: Embracing the Changeability of the Journey and the Certainty of Your Destiny."
Prior to his current role, Dr. Hill began his career as the lead pastor and counselor with the Church of God in 1983 and Evangelical Friends Church in 1993. Following this period, he was a licensed insurance agent with Bankers Life in 2016 and became the director of spiritual care for Alliance Community Hospital in 2017, retiring from the position in 2023. Also dedicated to civil advocacy, he is a regular donor for the Wounded Warrior Project and other churches in his community, volunteering his expertise for United Way and the Alliance Area Domestic Violence Shelter.
Before embarking on his professional journey, Dr. Hill earned a Bachelor of Arts in management from Malone University in 1999. Following this achievement, he earned a Master's degree and a Doctor of Philosophy in biblical counseling in 2013, both from Trinity College of the Bible and Trinity Theological Seminary.
Within the coming years, Dr. Hill intends to continue pastoring to his local church while engaging more in professional writing. Having been called to ministry in 1978, his primary goal moving forward is to share his life experiences, knowledge, research and development through his works while living his life faithful to God.
