Ms. Stoudt-Wright's former career included more than 25 years with Texas Instruments and Raytheon defense companies. Hired in 1978, she excelled as an operations manager, staff executive to the division vice president, and contracts manager, until 2009. Ms. Stoudt-Wright subsequently joined internationally known Airbus Helicopters Inc. as a senior director of offers and contracts, a lead government contracts position, from 2009 to 2021. She successfully negotiated billion-dollar defense contracts during her many years in the industry. She also built several successful teams and coached individuals to reach their full potential.
Grateful to be able to give back, Ms. Stoudt-Wright is serving as president elect of Keep Rowlett Beautiful, Inc. (KRB). KRB is a 2022 winner of the Texas Governor's Community Achievement Awards (GCAA), one of the most prestigious annual environmental awards in Texas and one of ten winning communities sharing $2 million in landscape awards from the Texas Department of Transportation. Moreover, Ms. Stoudt-Wright was a board member of the AIRBUS Political Action Committee and, as a devout Christian, presently serves as an associate pastor at True North Church.
Ms. Stoudt-Wright graduated from Lehigh University in 1975 with a Bachelor of Arts in economics and international business. She also briefly studied political science and government at the University of Bonn in 1975 and was an active North Western U.S Regional Board Member for the Alumni Association in the 1990's.
Remaining aware of developments in her field, Ms. Stoudt-Wright has served as a member of the National Contract Management Association (NCMA). She is also a past president of the North Texas chapter, having served her position from 2007 to 2008.
Honored for her expertise, Ms. Stoudt-Wright was named as the Businesswoman of the Year in the Dallas Business Journal in 2014. As an aerospace defense contractor at the time, she was the only one to win the award in her field among 24 others. Ms. Stoudt-Wright also received an award from the North Texas chapter of the National Contract Management Association. Additionally, she was recognized with a Commander's Coin of Excellence for Outstanding Performance from the U.S. Government's Defense Contract Management Association as well as a 2011 recipient of the North Texas NCMA's Founder Award for recognition of Outstanding and Dedicated Service.
Ms. Stoudt was a subject of biographical record in Marquis Who's Who in the South and Southwest (1980/1981).
