Prior to his current role, Mr. Kiser began his career as a consultant engineer for BMW of North America, LLC in 2005 and became an associate design electrical engineer for Fluor in 2007. Following this time, he served as an electrical engineer with The Shaw Group in 2009 and with the Zachry Group in 2014, taking a role as a senior electrical engineer for the Westinghouse Electric Company in 2019. He continued his career as an electrical engineer with the United Engineers and Constructors in 2021.
Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Kiser completed coursework in physics and engineering at Benedict College in 2001 and earned a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Clemson University in 2004. While pursuing his academic achievements, he was honored to be on the Oprah Winfrey Show in 1998, where they awarded him a $25,000 scholarship to support his stellar academics and community service.
Looking to the future, Mr. Kiser intends to retire early in his professional life, allowing him to spend more time traveling with his soon to be wife and engaging in volunteer work in his community. Also dedicated to civil advocacy, he is a church pastor, having previously served as a deacon, superintendent, youth director and Sunday school teacher since 2006.
