An expert in his field, he graduated from the Canadian Army Command and Staff College, and the Canadian Forces College and attended the U.S. Army War College. Subsequently, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in history and political science from the University of Toronto. While his career has been filled with highlights, he takes the most pride in helping build a monument in France for the Second Canadian Division of World War II and publishing his book.
