An entrepreneur, mother, she is passionate about helping others create meaningful ISO Management Systems that improve their organization. With more than four decades of excellence in auditing and simplifying ISO management systems, Ms. Hampton has earned distinction as the principal of Cornerstone Engineering, Training, and Consulting, LLC. Since 1984, she has helped companies, domestically and internationally, implement quality management systems to a variety of internationally recognized standards including ISO 14001-Environmental, ISO 45001-Occupational Health and Safety, ISO 9001-Quality, ISO 13485 Medical Devices, ISO 50001-Energy Management, ISO 22000 and ISO 22716-Food and Health Safety Management System, AS 9100-Aerospace including integrating these standards into the requirements of the US Government, Department of Defense, Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Requirements. Organizations who choose to conform to these standards desire to ensure their customers and suppliers can have the highest level of confidence in their ability and capabilities. She is a Senior Member of American Society of Quality and has been Registered as a Professional Engineer since 1986. She served locally on the Colquitt County Board of Education for 16 years from 1996 to 2012. She is currently holding certificates as a Senior Lead Auditor of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 22000. She is also certificated to be a Senior Lead Implementer in ISO 9001, ISO 45001.
Prior to developing Cornerstone Engineering, Training, and Consulting, LLC, Ms. Hampton began her career in 1979 as a quality engineer for John Deere Engine Works. Careers change and in 1984 she went independent. Since that time, she served in the capacity of a quality manager of several organization including cast iron machining, metal stamping, extrusions of plastic, over-the-counter medical manufacturing, and others.
In 1999, to test her knowledge, she began a manufacturing company with her late husband, Francis Marion Hay, Jr. The company operated for 20 years and produced FDA regulated, over-the-counter Tooth Powder under the Brand "Country Gent". The company is still in existence but under new ownership.
Before starting her professional journey, Ms. Hampton earned a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering with a Specialty in Power and Machinery from Iowa State University. Her high school was Moultrie Senior High School which opened the opportunity to also attend Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and University of Georgia. in 1980, domestically and internationally.
Focus for the future is to "give it away". She wants to share her knowledge with others through training others on ISO Management Systems, helping them build strong foundations for their futures with their customers and suppliers. She lives on her family farm where she manages the pecan orchard. Three amazing daughters, three wonderful sons-in-law who are amazing, eight (so far) grandchildren, and a menagerie of friends and pets keep her entertained.
