An accomplished fundraiser with a proven track record of success in corporate social responsibility, event-based fundraising, prospect research, and more, Ms. Carillo presently serves as a senior market director for the Northeast area for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. Since obtaining the role in 2019, she has supported fundraising for several member children's hospitals and maintained national partnerships with companies such as Walmart, The GIANT Company, Tops Friendly Markets, and Ollie's Bargain Outlet. Additionally, Ms. Carillo helps hospitals navigate their local relationships in regard to raising funds.
Previously, Ms. Carillo worked as the Children's Miracle Network director at Arkansas Children's, as well as Albany Medical Center. In the early stages of her career, she worked in development at Siena College, and the Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of New York. In conjunction with her work, Ms. Carillo contributed to her community as a volunteer with Kitten Angels and as a running buddy with I Run 4 Michael.
Over the years, Ms. Carillo has expanded upon her professional knowledge, earning a bachelor's degree in English, writing and communications through Siena College in 2011. Due to her outstanding body of work, she has been honored on several occasions, earning the Champion Pin Award from Albany Medical Center and a scholarship grant from Women in Development of Northeast New York. In recent years, Ms. Carillo also received the LEADER Award from Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.
While her career has been filled with highlights, Ms. Carillo takes the most pride in being of service to others and making a difference in the world. Though hard work and dedication have brought her far, she credits her success to her passion for what she does. Similarly, she credits her father's saying, "You don't have to be the smartest; you have to be the most organized, which will get you further in your career," which inspires her on a daily basis. In the next five years, Ms. Carillo aims to climb the professional fundraising ladder and obtain an executive level role such as a chief development officer with Children's Miracle Network or a similar organization.
