Having held numerous noteworthy roles throughout her career, Ms. Bodge began her career with AT&T, where she rose to serve as a managing director in Mexico City. Ms. Bodge also had the opportunity to become AT&T's regional managing director for the Caribbean and Latin America region in Coral Gables, Florida. Continually progressing in her career, she garnered recognition as a vice president at IXC Communications Inc. in Austin, Texas, Nortel Networks Inc. in Dallas, and HCA-Medical City, in Dallas and as the chief executive officer of the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition in Dallas. Moreover, Ms. Bodge established iCare Providers Inc., a consulting company focused on building and operating an urgent care center, which she sold in 2013.
Active in her community, Ms. Bodge has served as a business mentor at The Venture Center in Little Rock, Arkansas, since 2015. She has also served on the Board of the North Dallas Chamber of Commerce (NDCC) becoming its Chair in 2008 and helping establish the NDCC Foundation. Among other roles and initiatives, Ms. Bodge has been volunteering by preparing and serving food at the Jackson House and served Christ of The Hills United Methodist Church as a Chair of the Church Council and chair of its pastor-parish relations committee. Additionally, she was a board member of the Hot Springs Village Community Foundation. Since 2020 she has chaired the CHI St Vincent Benefit @ Diamante which raises funds for cancer research. At Diamante she served as Chair of the Advisory Board of Governors.
Highly educated, Ms. Bodge received a Bachelor of Science in English and history from Texas Tech University in 1977 and a Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University in 1989. As an undergraduate, she was elected to Kappa Alpha Theta, Phi Alpha Theta, and Omicron Delta Kappa and served as a Senator in the Student Senate. At SMU she served for 24 years on the Cox School of Business Associate Board whose members mentor MBA students.
