She is also an expert in treating eating disorders and has earned her Certified Eating Disorder Specialist recognition along with being awarded the Spirit of IAEDP award.
During graduate school Dr. Gupta has spent time working in research helping children deal with invasive medical procedures and with the development Cognitive Behavioral protocols to increase their ability to cope through these difficult procedures. She also holds years of clinical and research experience working with post-traumatic stress disorder. She specialized in Health Psychology and has lots of experience in a variety of hospital and medical settings helping child and adult patients, their families and working with multidisciplinary teams.
