IRON MOUNTAIN, MI, July 14, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Gino John Venditti, MBA, has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. Upon retiring from his corporate career in chemical engineering and small business management, Mr. Venditti established himself as a new small business owner in Iron Mountain, Michigan, managing STAG Farms as the company's president. Recognized as a mini-farm, it includes a vineyard, orchard, an apiary that produces honey, and a sugar operation that produces pure maple syrup.
Relocating to Iron Mountain in 2013 and starting his business in 2015, Mr. Venditti did not know anyone in town. Today, he has significant brand recognition, and many of the locals immediately recognize him as a local businessman. Looking toward the future, Mr. Venditti envisions much more success growing STAG Farms with expectations of expanding his geographical footprint and increasing his operational efficiency to support its future growth.
Having spent his former years on the east coast, Mr. Venditti worked as a nuclear engineer for the Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, Virginia, from 1999 to 2001. He subsequently became a process engineer at Qimonda/Infineon Technologies, and a senior quality engineer at RFMD, a semiconductor manufacturing company in Greensboro, North Carolina, managing the quality portion of new product introductions. Before selling his business and retiring, Mr. Venditti served as the vice president of operations at M.T.S. Sales and Services Inc. in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, providing sales and service of commercial kitchen equipment throughout the greater Pittsburgh area and Western Pennsylvania region.
Active in various civic initiatives that support his work, Mr. Venditti has been on the Northwoods Beekeepers steering committee since 2018. He is also a board member and past president of the Wildlife Unlimited of Dickinson County. Previously, Mr. Venditti was an advisory board member for Winning America and a communications chair for the board of the Entrepreneur's Organization in Pittsburgh.
Mr. Venditti graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and minor in chemistry in 1999 and from the Raymond A. Mason School of Business at William and Mary a Master of Business Administration in 2004. To remain aware of developments in his career, Mr. Venditti is a prominent member of the Michigan Beekeeper's Association (MBA), which notably recognizing him in 2022 as the Michigan Beekeeper of the Year. He credits his parents for his success by being heavily involved in establishing high expectations and standards within the home.
