Ms. Bravo was inspired to start Medical Essentials during the pandemic because of the need for underserved communities to be able to access care.
DELRAY BEACH, FL, July 20, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Leslie Gabriela Bravo has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
With several years of experience in corporate leadership and development, Ms. Bravo is recognized for her leadership as CEO of Medical Essentials, a provider of holistic treatments and resources to support individuals' wellness journeys. Utilizing her expertise in business management and data analysis, she founded the company in 2020 to provide personalized health care to bring patients' health into optimal, harmonious balance. A passionate advocate for mental health awareness, Ms. Bravo was inspired to start Medical Essentials during the pandemic because of the need for underserved communities to be able to access care. Her mission to normalize conversations about mental health had started years before, in 2015, when she set out to create the nonprofit For a Better Day Foundation; she remains the foundation's chief executive officer today.
Noted for her achievements in the field, Ms. Bravo is the recipient of a 2022 Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award from the U.S. White House. Her successes have been featured by Voyage Miami Magazine and the Sun-Sentinel Society Scene, and she has been honored as one of Fort Lauderdale's Top Young Professionals by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
Adjacent to her roles with Medical Essentials and For a Better Day Foundation, Ms. Bravo is president of L Bravo Group LLC, founder and CEO of the LeVor Collection, and CXO and strategic alliances lead for Pharma America Holding. Previously, she served as culture experience and strategy director for Honey Badger Consulting, as a realtor for Exit Realty Mizner, and as director of development and public relations for BSB Delray Beach LLC. Earlier in her career, she spent a decade working in the casino industry.
Ms. Bravo's performance in the field was born of her academic journey, beginning as a pre-med student in her home country of Peru. After earning a certification for premed at San Marcos University, she relocated to the United States and changed her focus to business management. She went on to obtain a bachelor's degree in business, with a minor in management and hospitality, from DeVry University. She holds certifications in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Healthcare, HIV/AIDS Counseling, Testing and Linkage, and HIV Prevention Counseling.
A volunteer within her local community, Ms. Bravo's nonprofit For a Better Day Foundation currently has five chapters, and she hopes to take the organization to the national level soon. She is a volunteer with the United Way of Broward County and Kiwanis International and is a member of the Rotary Club of Pompano Beach. Additionally, she has been highly active with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, serving as a board member, co-chair of the board, and member of the board for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's Fort Lauderdale Finest.
