With an extensive resume under his belt, Ryan Manning has completed multiple complex large-scale projects at Timberlake Construction, including the Will Rogers World Airport Terminal Expansion, which broke ground in April 2019, faced unforeseen building conditions— including three layers of concrete slabs discovered below the basement, additional piping and other structural materials throughout the demolition process. This complex project was completed on time and under budget in August 2021. Mr. Manning was instrumental in keeping the airport fully operational during construction, allowing uninterrupted flow of passengers and airport traffic throughout, while continuing to follow the Federal Aviation Administration, TSA and airport security guidelines.
Mr. Manning attributes his success to his unwavering determination, fairness, and honesty in all his endeavors. Among his accomplishments, he takes particular pride in his role in the remodeling of his Beta Theta Pi fraternity house, which earned him the distinguished Alumnus of the Year Award in 2016. He has a heart for University of Oklahoma projects particularly, having completed the Couch Cafeteria Renovation and is currently working on the University of Oklahoma Softball Complex set to complete in February 2024.
From a young age, Mr. Manning developed a keen interest in construction, inspired by observing his father's completion of interior home projects. This early fascination led him to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in construction from the University of Oklahoma in 2007. His dedication and hard work throughout his academic and professional journey have earned him several notable commendations, including the prestigious 2023 Oklahoma Project Manager of the Year recognition from the Associated General Contractors of America, National Award for Best Project of the Year by Engineering-News Record Magazine for the Will Rogers Terminal Expansion as a four-time Building Oklahoma Project Award Winner. These accolades are a result of his exceptional work.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Mr. Manning finds joy in attending sporting events, exploring new cities, playing golf and most of all, spending quality time with his daughter.
