During the early stages of his career, Mr. Witte gained valuable expertise in the field as a draftsman for Philipp Holzmann AG. An expert in his field, Mr. Witte holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a general contractor license through the North Carolina Licensing Board for General Contractors. In light of his professional achievements, he has been honored many times, becoming the Phi Kappa Phi Scholar through the University of North Carolina at Charlotte's College of Architecture. Likewise, Mr. Witte won the Henry Adams Medal from the American Institute of Architects, the Matsumoto Prize from the North Carolina Modernist Houses, and a Best of Houzz Award. He also received the 2021 Design & Build Award from Build Magazine and was featured in NC Architecture Dwell magazine, The New York Times, and many other publications.
While his career has been filled with highlights, Mr. Witte takes the most pride in leaving pieces of architecture behind with which others can engage. The cornerstone of his success lay in his drive, analytical mind, curiosity, vision, and humility.
