She is passionate about engagement opportunities and resources to empower decision-making and autonomy.
Ms. Harman also works as an Operations Specialist Consultant, focused on establishing governance processes to provide a seamless and more automated experience for members and employees. She served as a Senior Analyst with Healthcare Solutions, providing data-based strategic assessments and recommendations for company pilot programs. In recognition of her dedicated work, she was honored with a 2021 Mission and Values in Action Award for her innovative strategies to improve member experiences and outcomes. Additionally, she was a Senior Program Manager and analyst for Product Implementation, forming a systematic approach to intake changes and produce high quality outcomes.
Philanthropic efforts include marketing and fundraising outreach for animal welfare with Second Chance Kitty since 2020 and from 2017 to 2020, serving on the Board of Directors for Stockton, California-based nonprofit PUENTES. She facilitated the automation of electronic records for Healthy Beginnings in 2009, managed social media for Habitat for Humanity in Oregon in 2007, and was a volunteer administrator for CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) in 2006.
Prior to her current company, Ms. Harman worked in healthcare at Vision Service Providers as a Customer Care business analyst in 2013, an Operations Manager for Telesource Center starting in 2010, and an interning analyst with the University of Oregon's Psychology department in 2009. She performed as a classical virtuoso violinist with multiple orchestras during the period of 1995-1999.
Aside from her professional journey, Ms. Harman earned a Bachelor of Science in social science with a dual focus in psychology and criminology from the University of Oregon in 2011. Following this achievement, she attained a Master of Business Administration in 2013 from the University of the Pacific while working for Pencils.com as a writer. Well-qualified in her field, she holds a certificate in business case development from the Harvard Business School as well as a project management certification from Duke University and a project management professional certification from the Project Management Institute, Inc.
Within the coming years, Ms. Harman intends to finish a Doctor of Philosophy in Business Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology, enabling her to design innovative research and influence company policies to drive the expansion of employee engagement, increased health outcomes for members and the ability to drive meaningful change.
