Drawing on over five decades of expertise in health care, Ms. Warren specialized in anesthetic nursing. Before her retirement in 2013, she built a prolific career as a corporate owner of Anesthesia by Musa, P.C. She initially began her work history at Baylor University Medical Center in 1962 as a dietary aide and a Vocational Nurse. Finally, she progressed to becoming a Registered Nurse in 1970. While on her professional journey, Ms. Warren completed her nurse anesthesia training at Charity Hospital School of Anesthesia for Nurses in 1975.
Following this graduation, she was employed as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas, from 1975 to 1978. After which, Ms. Warren served in the United States Air Force Nurse Corps from 1978 to 1998, where she advanced to the rank of Major before receiving an honorable discharge.
In pursuit of educational excellence, she graduated from Ottawa University, Kansas City, Missouri, in 1980 with a Bachelor of Arts. She continued her educational efforts with Troy State University of Troy, Alabama, in 1992, earning a Master of Science in Human Resource Management. As a commitment to her field as a CRNA, she is likewise dedicated to civic advocacy. Ms. Warren contributes to The American Heart Association, Mercy Ship Africa, The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA), Susan G. Komen, Father Flannigan's Home for Children, and The Way Christian Learning Center (CLC), Grand Prairie, Texas.
Well-regarded for her contributions to the United States Air Force, Major Warren has received multiple awards and military education, including an Accommodation Medal and three Meritorious Medals. She completed Squadron Officer School (SOS) in 1981, Air Command and Staff College in 1985, and Air War College in 1989. Among her professional accomplishments, Ms. Warren is most proud to have served in the field as a CRNA. Reflecting on a long and rewarding career, she attributes most of her success to a solid Christian faith.
Looking toward the future and having enough of world travel, she aspires to travel by vehicle, exploring our great country with siblings and old friends.
