Alongside her work, Ms. Breeden contributes to her community by working with people at her church to start an organization to provide young girls with coaching, skill development, networking and inspiration to excel professionally. An expert in her field, she holds a Bachelor of Science in biology and a Master of Science in bio-engineering and environmental engineering from the University of Illinois. She has authored over 20 publications and been a presenter at more than 50 international symposia and universities.
Driven to remain abreast of changes in the field, Ms. Breeden aligned herself with numerous organizations including Professional Business Women of California, and Conference Board, Chief Environmental, Health and Safety Council.
While her career has been filled with highlights, she takes the most pride in having helped companies eliminate thousands of accidents and injuries. The cornerstone of her success lay with her father, who instilled in her the vision that she could do anything she set her mind to. In the coming years, Ms. Breeden intends to finish her book on occupational health and safety performance improvement.
