Since 2010, she has found much success as the co-founder and chief executive officer of BeKoM Design Inc, a boutique firm known for custom single-family home design. As a principal of the firm, she engages clients to create a design reflecting their vision for their dream home. She utilizes state-of-the-art three-dimensional software to provide her clients with a realistic view as she develops both the architectural design as well as custom interior design with details such as lighting and accent built ins. Her designs enhances indoor-outdoor living, incorporating outdoor amenities such as barbecues, pools and outdoor living elements. She oversees the permitting process and supports the construction phase to assure consistency with the designs.
Ms. Kaufman-Meron pursued an education at Tel Aviv University, where she earned a Bachelor of Architecture, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2003. She began her career as a freelance graphic and architectural designer in Israel from 2002 until 2004. After relocating to the United States with her family in 2004, she continued her work remotely. Living in Cambridge Massachusetts, Ms. Kaufman Meron worked as an Architectural Designer at Sterling Associates and at Hammer Architects from 2005 to 2006. Between 2006 and 2008, she continued to develop her expertise as a design coordinator at Stantec, formerly known as ADD Inc. During this time, she also served on the faculty of Boston Architectural College from 2007 to 2008, when she relocated once more with her family, to the San Francisco Bay area.
In her first two years in California, Ms. Kaufman-Meron was founder and head designer of Bar-bar-e Kidsstuff, while concurrently serving as a freelance architectural designer, until 2010, when she co-founded BeKoM Design, Inc.
Well-regarded for her contributions to the field, Ms. Kaufman-Meron's company has received the Best in Service Award from Houzz for six consecutive years and has been recognized as the Best Residential Architects and Designers in Los Altos, California by Home Builder Digest and published internationally in books such as San Francisco Architects Top Bay Area Studios. Among her professional accomplishments, she is most proud to have established a thriving business and takes great pride in the quality of her work and the exceptional details of her designs. Reflecting on her achievements, she attributes much of her success to her passion for her craft, the support of her family, especially her husband and children, successful collaboration with her business partner and co-founder of BeKoM Design, Inc and to her clients, whom inspire her artistically.
