His first podcast was titled "Family Time Q&A" and presented content built from candid conversations with his own family members. Diversified experience across various industries has prepared Mr. Dugan for his present creative and leadership roles. He initiated his professional career after earning a Bachelor of Science in chemistry-biology from the University of the Pacific first as a valued education coordinator with CHRISTUS Spohn Health System in 2003. In 2006, he transitioned to real estate; to this end, Mr. Dugan is a licensed realtor who excelled with O'Neill Realty between 2006 and 2010 and with Keller Williams Coastal Bend from 2010 to 2011. In that same arena, he also owned Reel Tours, through which he produced exceptional online real estate video tours from 2009 to 2011.
A passion for continuing education has been a driving force in Mr. Dugan's varied pursuits. He completed a Master of Science in educational technology from Texas A&M University in 2012 while working with the Women's Shelter of South Texas.
A return to CHRISTUS Health defined Mr. Dugan's next professional phase when he rejoined the firm as an education consultant through 2018 before advancing to be named the manager of the firm in 2018. In 2019, the same year he was designated a Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Facilitator, he made an exciting transition to Methodist Health System to become the director of organizational effectiveness, where Mr. Dugan made critical contributions through 2022.
Mr. Dugan is a proud United States Army Veteran who served capably from 1999 to 2003 at the rank of sergeant. He functioned as a combat medic across several key deployments and thrived on the cooperative spirit of the military environment. While in the service, Mr. Dugan was duly recognized with an Army Commendation Medal with V Device while in Iraq for Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Mr. Dugan attributes his success to productive networking and superb mentors. To this end, he maintains memberships in the Association for Talent Development and the eLearning Guild. He also thrives on accepting civic service opportunities and from 2008 to 2014, he was the acting ministry team director for the Corpus Christi Weekend to Remember presented by Family Life. He was also the small group curriculum developer for Church Unlimited, a position he was humbled to hold from 2010 to 2021. Looking toward the future, Mr. Dugan remains committed to accepting opportunities to engage audiences as a keynote speaker and by participating in dedicated workshops.
