Mr. Ahmad is a respected businessman and the managing partner of Omega Builders LLC, a Georgia-based real estate company that owns numerous strip malls, warehouses, office buildings, and residential units. As an expert in the industry, he focuses on real estate acquisition and leasing, particularly for strip malls and free-standing businesses, working closely with banks and insurance companies throughout the buying and selling process.
As an immigrant from Pakistan, Mr. Ahmad's humble beginnings included working at a small, privately owned local gas station in Maryland. Working 100-hour weeks to work toward his professional goals, his work ethic became recognized with a promotion to assistant manager and subsequently supervising 12 gas stations throughout the area. Leveraging his expertise in the industry, Mr. Ahmad eventually ventured on his own, establishing himself with two business partners, leasing a gas station in Georgia, and growing their business to 19 gas stations across Georgia for five major oil companies. In 2005, he began investing in real estate, ultimately dissolving his partnerships in the oil and gas business.
As Mr. Ahmad developed more free time, he became more invested in his community, supporting children, older adults, and first responders. Becoming a dedicated civil advocate, he served as a community servant for City of Conyers and Rockdale County, as the president of the board of directors for Habitat for Humanity Conyers-Rockdale Inc., and as the president of the Rockdale County chapter of Rotary International. He also served as the president-elect of the Kiwanis Club of Conyers and as a member of the Conyers-Rockdale Chamber of Commerce board of directors. Mr. Ahmad is presently running for chair of Rockdale County's Board of Commissioners. He aims to concentrate primarily on economic development, a clean community, and wise spending.
Mr. Ahmad earned a bachelor's degree in statistics and economics in his home country of Pakistan at Bahauddin Zakariya University in 1992 and a master's degree in economics from the University of Punjab in 1996. Shortly thereafter, he immigrated to the U.S. to seek the American dream in 2001.

He also received numerous other accolades for his community service from such organizations as the Rockdale County chapter of Rotary Club International the Kiwanis Club of Conyers, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, and Georgia's Fourth Congressional District. Moreover, Mr. Ahmad was named an Education Partner of the Year by the Rockdale County Public Schools in year 2023 and an Unsung Hero by Congressman Hank Johnson in 2022. Apart from his various accolades, he appeared in a short, nine-second clip of Congressman John Lewis' documentary (Good Trouble) which was released shortly after he passed away.
