Dr. Davis is a facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon practicing in the heart of Beverly Hills. Drawing on eight years of experience in the profession, Dr. Davis, a board certified surgeon, is recognized for his expertise in performing facelifts, neck lifts and hair transplants, as well as his focus on giving back to the community. Dr. Davis's extensive efforts to help people in need has earned him a coveted Leadership in Medicine Award from the American Medical Association.
Dr. Davis came to his career via an untraditional route; medicine was not his original career goal, as he initially planned to become an ambassador or enter the foreign service. After earning a bachelor's degree in international diplomacy, with a minor in philosophy, from Miami University (where he was a Division I quarterback football player), he served in the Peace Corps in the Dominican Republic for nearly three years. That experience changed his views as he became disenchanted with international diplomacy, and he pivoted to focus on medical missions. In the process, Dr. Davis discovered a passion for surgery, a field that called upon his dual interests in science and the arts and enabled him to work with his hands. He went on to obtain a Doctor of Medicine from Indiana University School of Medicine and completed a residency in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at Emory University.
Long dedicated to using his skillset to benefit others, Dr. Davis provides reduced rate medical care each month for patients in his community who have experienced negative outcomes from surgical procedures with other surgeons. Following his Peace Corps volunteerism, he also founded a student-led, no-cost medical clinic in his Northern Indiana hometown — the first of its kind in the Midwest — a project that earned him the AMA's Leadership in Medicine Award. Additionally, in the aftermath of the 2010 Haitian earthquake, he volunteered to help survivors.
Outside of his livelihood, Dr. Davis enjoys spending time with his wife, a Louisiana native named Marie, their 2-year-old son, Joseph, and their dog, Bodhi. An avid outdoorsman, he likes to spend free time hiking, cycling and rock climbing, and his daily routine involves yoga and meditation. Other hobbies include playing the guitar, composing music and woodworking (including crafting the guitar he plays). Looking toward the future, Dr. Davis is excited to continue his professional endeavors while supporting his wife's filmmaking dreams, and also to start a nonprofit to provide pro bono facial plastic surgery services for people in need.
