Mr. Dreshaj's passion for cooking began when he was just 16 when his mother gave him cooking lessons at home. After immigrating to the U.S. in 2006, he spent the next decade at several Italian restaurants throughout Dallas, Oklahoma, New York, Kansas, and Missouri. After garnering years of experience, Mr. Dreshaj ultimately chose to carve out his own path by purchasing the former restaurant, Cork Brew, in Liberty's historic downtown and designed a custom menu filled with family recipes passed down from his mother and inspired by others in the field.
As a testament to his success, Mr. Dreshaj's eatery was recognized as the Best Italian Restaurant in Northland. Shortly after his grand opening in 2014, he was also featured in an article in The Pitch, an independent news source in Kansas City, which earned positive reviews.
