Prior to obtaining her current role, she worked as a human resources director for the City of Boise, through which she also worked as an organizational development manager, and training and development coordinator. Through her company, BestDayHR, Ms. Stewart contributes to her community through the local Rotary Club. Similarly, she dedicates herself to her children's charter school. An expert in her field, she holds an Associate of Arts in elementary education and teaching from the College of Southern Idaho and a Bachelor of Arts in elementary education and teaching from Boise State University. Subsequently, Ms. Stewart expanded upon her professional knowledge by earning a Master of Science in instructional and performance technology through Boise State University and a diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace certification through USF Corporate Training and Professional Education.

For a year, she worked with around 35 other people to train people through a leadership development program. Via one-on-one coaching sessions, personality assessments, and more, she was able to change the course of many lives. The cornerstone of her success lay in her parents' influence and the support of her husband. Looking toward the future, Ms. Stewart aims to complete a PhD in organizational leadership with a focus on workplace dysfunction and become a professor at the local community college.
