BEDMINSTER, NJ, August 03, 2023 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Tuli Bhattacharjee has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
With almost a half-decade of excellence in architectural design, Ms. Bhattacharjee has earned distinction through her academic pursuits and work. Since 2022, she has focused her efforts on designs involving material exploration, human-centered designs and considerations for spatial computations. Notably, her design portfolio was selected as a template for applications for the master's degree program for the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, where future applicants applying to the program view the portfolio to better understand the standards and expectations they need to meet.
Before joining the University of Michigan, Ms. Bhattacharjee underwent a budding scientist internship at the University of Delhi's Hansraj College in 2012 and was a student documenter for the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage in 2016. The same year, she was an intern for the Kiron Designer Consultancy firm until resuming her role as a student documenter for the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage in 2017. In 2018, she was a professional intern with Gensler, one of the top leading architectural firms in the world, earning a promotion to a technical designer in 2019 and subsequently to a junior design strategist for their design strategy and consulting team in 2020, conducting user studies. Following this time, she became an independent researcher in 2021 involved in a hackathon exploring the use and impact of new technologies and AI-driven methods in architecture and also working as a junior architect and computational designer with FivD in 2022.
Added to these, she was honored with a Department Gold Medal from the NIT in 2019, first prize in the HMC Architects' Computational Design Method Hackathon in 2021 and a Master of Science in Architecture Citizenship Award from the University of Michigan in 2023 for balancing technical and social (human-centric) aspects in her master's projects.
To prepare for her professional journey, Ms. Bhattacharjee earned a Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) from the Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology (NIT Bhopal) in India in 2019. Following this achievement, she attained a Master of Science (M.S.) in Digital and Material Technologies from the University of Michigan in 2023, studying interdisciplinary intersections between design, human-centered approaches, computation, fabrication and robotics in architecture. Well-qualified in her field, she is a registered architect with the Council of Architecture in India and strongly advocates combining integrated pursuits to fuel purpose-driven humanistic solutions which was evident in her master's capstone project where she worked on designing multi-sensory prototypes for neuro-diverse children.
Within the coming years, Ms. Bhattacharjee intends to continue down this path, focusing on applied research driven by industry methods at the intersection of academia and practice. As part of this goal, she intends to go for a Ph.D., enabling her to guide the next generation of professionals as a professor apart from her curated research interests. She aspires to be an inspiration for others who are facing unconventional decisions in their lives, as she did when learning how to navigate the bridge between different domains and connecting the dots together to create a meaningful impact.
