Prior to obtaining his current role, he served as the chairman of the board and successfully ran Safari Sam's Family Entertainment Center. During the early stages of his career, Mr. Cohen gained valuable expertise in event management and planning, public relations, and more as the director of franchise operations for Wendy's and as an intern in Hilton Worldwide Holdings' Sales Department.
In conjunction with his work, Mr. Cohen dedicates himself to his community as the vice chairman of the Butler County Economic Development Corporation and as the past president of the Moraine Preservation Fund. Driven to remain abreast of ongoing changes in his community, he maintains affiliation with the local chapter of Rotary International. Previously, he served as president of the International Association for the Leisure and Entertainment Industry and as a member of the board of directors for the Pennsylvania Restaurant & Lodging Association.
Before embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Cohen earned an associate degree in hospitality administration and management from the Community College of Allegheny County in 1976. Throughout his career, he has been recognized in the Pittsburgh Power 100 through the Pittsburgh Business Times. Similarly, he was one of only 40 individuals to win the Keystone Award for Tourism in the history of the state. The cornerstone of his success lay in giving back to the community he serves.
