A highly regarded marketing and public relations executive, Ms. Hallberg has exhibited a fruitful career dedicated to driving business growth and professional relationships for large and small companies alike. Since 2016, she has worked as an independent contractor providing consulting services to the marketing and public relations industry. Ms. Hallberg received a bachelor's degree in marketing from the University of Maryland, College Park in 1986.
Ms. Hallberg was employed as a senior account executive for Clipper Magazine from 2004 to 2016. She implemented more than 3,000 marketing and design projects for approximately 1,100 companies. Ms. Hallberg managed a large array of clientele from national corporations to smaller mom-and-pop stores. Some of the marquee companies she handled included Nationwide Tire & Auto, East Coast Tile, Pine Creek Structures, Red Wing Shoes, International House of Pancakes and Massage Envy. At a national sales conference held in Cancun, Mexico, Ms. Hallberg was noted as one of the top senior account executives with the firm. At the gathering, she was given an award in recognition of her outstanding performance with the organization.
During the period 1996 to 2004, Ms. Hallberg was an account executive with the venture capital start-up, PKM Direct Marketing, LLC, headquartered in New York City. The company was formed by three former senior corporate executives from Time-Life, Inc. PKM was established as a marketing consulting firm to provide strategic multi-media and public relations services to Fortune 500 companies.
From 1988 through 1996, Ms. Hallberg served in numerous positions at Time-Life, Inc. As associate director of direct mail, she helped launch the most extensive promotional campaign in the firm's history. In addition, Ms. Hallberg played a key role in the development of the original Time-Life, Inc. corporate database. During her tenure, other assignments included pop music product manager, print media marketing manager and enclosures manager.
Ms. Hallberg began her career in 1981 as assistant to the senior director of the U. S. Feed Grains Council headquartered in Washington, D.C. She facilitated the expansion of international trade of American feed grains to countries such as Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines.
Ms. Hallberg maintains memberships in the New England Society in the City of New York, the Church Club of New York, Nichibei Fujinkai Society of New York, the Army and Navy Club of Washington, D.C. and the Priory in the United States of America of the Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem, Washington, D.C.
Ms. Hallberg attributes much of her success as to having been selected a foreign exchange student to Baden, Switzerland. That experience sparked a keen interest in global travel learning different languages and cultures. She is privileged to have visited Thailand, Nepal, France, Italy, Germany, Czechoslovakia and Mexico.
Looking forward, Ms. Hallberg intends to continue with her international journeys. She hopes to expand her advanced degree educational program.
