Among his professional accomplishments, Mr. Hinze is most proud to have upgraded the Runway Exit Design Interactive Model (REDIM) that has been previously developed in the 1990s. This model is used by airport designers worldwide to identify proper locations for runway exits.
Reflecting on his achievements, he attributes much of his success to his ability to mesh his programming skills with his knowledge of the air transportation field. Looking toward the future, Mr. Hinze aspires to expand the scope of his career by continuously engineering better air traffic simulation and air transportation systems and concepts in his field.
